INTRODUCTION

Mega Group was established in 1988 and has since grown into one of the biggest bulk Bag and Webbing manufacturers and suppliers on the local market. (Producing 80000 Bags per month)

To prove this we proudly display a graph in our conference room depicting this steady growth. It is also there to remind us of our humble beginnings in a small 400 square meter factory in Duncanville, Vereeniging.

Since then our occupied floor space has increased to over 5000 square meters. At present we employ 150 people at our Vereeniging branch, 70 people at our branch in Isetebe; Durban, and 90 people at our branch in the Meyerton; Gauteng.

Our Meyerton branch is currently supplying us with the webbing material which is used to make the lifting loops in the Bulk Bags. We have gone into partnership with Ubuckiko Fabric (Pty) Ltd, which is a 100% BBE organisation, based in Pietermaritzburg, Kwazulu Natal, since July 2006.

We've got the most modern polypropylene weaving equipment manufacured by the Starlinger Group in Austria, which meets all internationally required standards specifications of fabric and tapes.

Most of our operations are fully automated to speed up te process of bag production and to eliminate any possible wastage caused by human error.

As part of our striving towards a top quality bulk bag we are busy with installations of the ISO 9000, internationally recognised quality system.
